TLAIS now offers compulsory Diagnostic Test through the Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring (CEM), an associate of Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) to all learners both new and old. The tests are offered at the start of the Academic Year (SoY Tests) and at the end of the Academic Year (EoY Tests).
A diagnostic assessment is a form of pre-assessment where teachers can evaluate learners’ strengths, weaknesses, knowledge and skills before their instruction/ teaching. This test enables teachers to determine the nature and the causes of Learner’s learning difficulties. Each stage has its own type of Diagnostic test.
