Cambridge Secondary & IGCSE

At Lilongwe Academy International School, our Lower and Upper Secondary education follows the Cambridge curriculum, providing students aged 11 to 16 with a strong academic foundation and essential life skills. We focus on shaping learners to be confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, and engaged—ready to succeed in a dynamic world.

Lower Secondary (Years 7–9)

This 3-year programme is designed to help learners become independent thinkers while nurturing academic excellence. It includes Cambridge Secondary Checkpoint assessments, externally marked by Cambridge International.

Upper Secondary (Years 10–11) – IGCSE

We offer the Cambridge IGCSE, the world’s most recognized international qualification for students aged 14–16. Learners choose a combination of subjects based on their strengths and career aspirations, with assessments that include written, oral, and practical components.
